Electronic Navigational Charts Generation and Maintenance of ENCs
Electronic Navigational Charts are commonly used in navigational systems and ECDIS displays on vessels. They must conform to the IHO S57 standards to work properly.
We have both the experience and tools for creating, editing and managing electronic navigational charts (ENCs).
We regularly create them as deliverables for survey projects for NOAA and others.

- We were contracted to provide modern, accurate hydrographic survey data to update the nautical charts north of Akun Island, Alaska, and including a portion of the Safety Fairway through Unimak Pass connecting the Bering Sea with the North Pacific Ocean.

- The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) tasked TerraSond to provide multibeam sonar and sidescan sonar survey services so that nautical charts of the survey area in Mississippi and Alabama could be updated.

- We were contracted by the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide sidescan, single beam, and multibeam sonar services for Debris Mapping of the Alabama Fairways and Perdido Bay in the Gulf of Mexico.

- NOAA contracted us to supply hydrographic surveying data for 54.3 square miles of Cook Inlet, Alaska. Afterward, 3,898 lineal miles of multibeam surveys, and 55 lineal miles of side scan sonar surveys were added to the contract.
