Electronic Navigational Charts Various Locations, Alaska

Information updates were supplied by NOAA, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), and local sources. These updates were applied to the most recent datasets that were downloaded from NOAA's FTP (File Transfer Protocol) site. Included in the datasets were raster history, information, and imagery. We kept records of the ENCs and the cells that were in maintenance.

We used a variety of software programs (dKart Inspector 5.0, CARIS HOM, Microstation I/RAS B, and dKart Image) to bring ENC cells up to standard, apply the sources, and check for gap and overlap in the more detailed areas of the cell.

After comparing the datasets to the raster image, TerraSond provided a history document and the updated ENCs to NOAA.
